Professional Experience

Elsie is a Charted Landscape Architect with a background in design, community capacity building and consultation with extensive experience working for the private, statutory and third sector.
 
She has worked for a number of years for a national voluntary organisation specialising in community capacity building through landscape design, as well as acquiring extensive experience in designing educational and playful landscapes, especially for children and adults with special needs.
 
More recently she has gained much experience consulting on and designing high quality urban landscapes incorporating mixed use, residential and commercial public open spaces and streetscapes; developing innovative and iterative strategies around areas such as play, trees and community cohesion to create beautiful and useful landscapes with a strong sense of place.
